The story of Mr. Stirling

Meet Mr. Stirling

Every sweet shop has candy. This one has a storyteller.

Mr. Stirling is the curious host behind Stirling Sweet Shop—inspired by the family’s Scottish roots and unmistakable Boise spirit. A lifelong collector of remarkable sweets, curious finds, and little moments of magic, he’s equal parts old-world charm and modern-day mischief.

No one quite knows where Mr. Stirling got his start. Some say somewhere near the shadow of Stirling Castle. Others say he simply appears wherever good candy and good people meet.

These days, he’s made himself very much at home in Boise.

Finding Mr. Stirling is part of the fun.
